We are so lucky to have a place like Hitterman's in our community. I remember going there with my father when I was quite young. I have been shopping there for years now and always try to find what I need there instead of going to one of the "big box" stores. They have an amazing stock of tools, hardware, plumbing, and electrical supplies, and are starting to stock a bit of lumber now, too. They also have some fencing supplies and a few automotive things. The staff is local, knowledgeable, and friendly, and can always be counted on for good advice. Every time I go I discover something else -- last time I was there I discovered furnace filters, so no need to go to one of the big stores for those, either. Because they have been in business so long they can supply parts for older items, such as plumbing fittings. 5+ stars, for sure!
I love a small town hardware store. I never spend much money there, but I'm treated like I spend a fortune. A great place to get all the hardware that I need.
