Frank Farmer Chevrolet was recently sold and has become Ward Chevrolet. I'm very pleased to see that the service and parts staff remain unchanged following this transition. I have been relying on Farmer/Ward for all my vehicle service for the past 15 years and currently have four vehicles that they service for me. I have always received good service, good advice, and fair treatment from them. Al, Mike, Kelly, and all the technicians are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable and do a great job.
They helped me when my credit is horrible. I traded in my Pontiac Grand am and got into a 2016 chevy cruze. Call and ask for Rick
Drive all way down to metropolis from Murray to waste my time and gas after they lied over the phone of my or approval.
I'm adding to my review based on a recent experience that I had. It was all my fault and I'm embarrassed by the story, but I want to reward "above and beyond" service. I was at McDonalds, which is next door to Ward Chevrolet. When I came out to my car my fob wouldn't work, and I couldn't get the key into the door lock. My wife was out of town so I couldn't have her bring her key. I was stuck! It was almost noon and their lunch time, but I walked over and found Al, the service manager, and explained my problem. He took my fob to Kelly, the parts manager, and they installed a new battery. I went back but still no luck, and still the key wouldn't fit. I went back to the dealership, and then Al took my key along with some lubricant and headed over to my car. I stopped to wash my hands and followed him. When I got to the parking lot he said, "This is the wrong key". Good grief! I didn't realize that I had two sets of keys in my pocket and had pulled out the wrong set. I dug into my pocket, pulled out the correct key, and all was well (except for my ego). I thanked Al for being so helpful and we went our separate ways. Later that day I called Kelly to tell her what an idiot I had been and to thank her for her help. You couldn't ask for better service and support than what I received that day.
They WILL charge you $10k MORE than bluebook price. I got treated like an idiot FOR DECLINING 2 times. They tried to trick me. Bad service. Lied to me get me down there TWICE. Supposed to match the other dealership and DOUBLED it when I got there. Final price AND payments were doubled. If you wreck a car and owe more than its worth, you still have to pay for it. Insurance will only cover book value if you don't have gap coverage. BEWARE and BE SMART before buying buying a car. Be patient, and think about a future, not just present.
Great place to do business. Good honest hard working sales team that won't
