We hunt in Metropolis Illinois every year. This is our go to place. So far this year we ate at Edds three times. Great food big servings and a decent prices. The peel and eat shrimp are the best. The bar is great and the servers are friendly. Stop in if you're in town.
Great food. Great prices. Great staff. They say famous for peel n eat shrimp, but the wings and sauces are awesome. We will definitely eat here again.
Friday or Saturday, or any time with more then a few people here, hope you are ready to stand in line for basic bar food. Why this is not a sit-down bar is beyond reason.
Had a great experience here. I thought the ordering system was weird, but every place has their quirks. Food was great and very affordable!! Spent $25 bucks for a family of four. Would definitely come here again.

Corn nuggets and peel and eat shrimp!!! My girlfriend lives in Metropolis and this is a must go to place for us when we visit! They have huge seating to accommodate our gang! The staff is friendly and the kids actually win at their arcade games!!!
